Question about dosages and cycle length

My original plan for my first cycle was to do 375mg/week of Test E for ~13 weeks. I didnt want to start out at too high of a dose, but also didnt want to go too low. But then I got to thinking today, after reading through some different threads about what people started out on. So now Im wondering what the difference would be in doing say 500mg/week for 10 weeks versus 375mg/week for 13. Would 125mg/week more make that much of a difference or would an extra 3 weeks yield better results? Or am I just over thinking it now?

I think your 1st thought is correct. Go slow and see how you are going to react. You can always increase
 
i did 250mg test e for 9 weeks with front load for my first cycle. i did it as a fat ass. dropped like 8% bf and gained like 15lbs of muscle through pct. i was surprised but it goes to show how well virgin receptors react to synthetics for the first time
 
I think you are supposed to run test e longer since it takes a while to kick in.

You are over thinking it too much brother. When you first start less equals more in most cases. I started out with 400mgs a week and had great results from it. Plus this will allow you to gauge how your body reacts to aas.
 
Thanks for the reply guys, with all the information floating around its easy to become overwhelmed with different ways to do things.
 
I went slow for 6 weeks and then ramped it up, my body seemed to like it and adjust to the gear.

The first six weeks I had high BP and just felt weird, felt good, felt unstoppable and it was a surreal experience. Since then my BP has dropped back down, with the aide of supps, and everything went well for a first cycle.

Sounds like you have 2 10ml vials of 250mg/ml stuff. There is no right answer here really. You will likely gain the same net mass since its the same amount of total gear over time. There is some truth behind more is better though up to a certain point so I'd put you on the 500/10 over the 375/13 myself
