Question for BigA (candida related)

I've read your old posts and found that you're fighting with candida in the past. Maybe could you share your experience with that? (how you treated it, what have you used, how it affected your training)

I've read that when yeasts are overgrown - the steroid discontinue is must. But I'm assuming that's only for orals? What about staying just on testosterone and gh or peptides (ipa,ghrp,cjc) and some anti-e?

Also wanted to ask about diet. It's recommended to avoid carbs as much as possible, but if someone is training hard I'm assuming he needs some starchy carbs - this won't feed the yeasts and will be used during training/glycogen restore? Let's just say 1 cup of brown rice preworkout and 1c post.

What about protein powder? I've to avoid lactose and my whey contains 3.5 grams of lactose per 2 scoop shake, is it gtg (I've pmed you the link to the brand I'm using, don't want to spam here)

Easily fixed with Difflucan, one dose - 300mg.

You can get way better whey's with zero lactose, like SynthePURE.

And what about injectable gear (testoterone,gh)? Does it weakens immune system, helps to grow the yeasts? Or can it be used when treating disease?

Big A or anyone else ........I have a friend that is battling this yeast prob.......he is really struggling ......down to 125 normally around 165 [professional moto cross racer] any recomendations ......he has altered diet ....used drugs ....different supplements.....nothing works for long .....or at all ......he is really suffering ......the stress has induced anxiety and other issues.....I 'd love to help the guy .......he is truly a loving person

This is if great interest to me , was one 300mg dose really effective ?

I have been researching this alot and I was going to use 200mg per day for 6-12 weeks as recommended by a cronic fatigue dr .

I would like to think that the one off dose would work however as I'm worried about liver toxicity and can't afford any synthergine at this moment in time .

Did you exclude all sugar or did the diflucan allow you to be a bit more lax with the diet ?

few people know of this, but the best thing to destroy candida/yeast/fungus overgrowth is the amazonian bark jatoba. look it up.

Fluconazole (diflucan)

Serious fungal infection PO/IV 81-400mg initially then 200mg a day for 4 weeks

Eat a low carb diet consisting of meat and veggies. (veggies are the only carb source)

He will lose weight but the main goal is eradicating the yeast.

I was a dug rep for Pfizer when Diflucan was launched around 1990. And sold for $15 a pill. It was originally sold for cryptylcoccuss menigitis.(spelling) An often fatal fungal infection of the brain, seen mostly in immunocompromised patients. Aids/cancer. I sold it in Greenwhich village/chelsea. I led the nation in volume. Duh. Back then using it for simple candida infections was like using a high powered rifle to kill a mouse.

It sounds like he has leaking gut syndrome. That's very advanced candida. He needs to see a specialist and/or do that intense Diflucan regime for weeks one end.

I had the usual candida that basically every bodybuilder gets from the diet and especially the cheap ass nasty protein blends - constant bloating, gas, nausea, rashes, etc.
Basically, a good indication that you have it is if you bloat instantly even if you eat the smallest amount of any food.

Really !!! Im excited about this , I was diagnosed with ibs 20 years ago and it's been s daily struggle for me suffering with stomach issues .
I've done the spit test and my saliva just sank right away .
My symptoms are pretty severe and I'm really hopeful candida treatment might help me .

Did you not experience any of the die off symptoms ?

As mentioned in an earlier post i planned on doing 200mg for 6-12 weeks but when I saw your post I had 6 tablets in the cupboard so I just took them !
Did you ever have to repeat the treatment ?
I have some good quality pro biotics on the way in the post

Did one 300mg dosage, one day later and I'm feeling like a different person, damn I feel that I was born again, lethargy is gone, had the most awesome workout in years, no more cravings for carbs, don't want to go sleep after every meal (only eating protein+fats), I'm not bloated, my vision is clearly, even my mind working better...that's just insane that few pills can change the life...just wondering if it lasts forever or only when the Diflucan is working...

BTW I'm on very low carb diet was using only brown rice in the beginning, and oats - when dropped oats felt the huge difference too (no more oats for me, at least for the next 6 months) now carbs only from lettuce, nuts. Eating 12 whole eggs a day with some organic bacon, some butter, chicken, fish, lots of garlic and onion basically with every meal. Also included a lot of olive oil, coconut oil in my diet, megadosed multivits and minerals, added vit E 800mg, probiotics, digestive enzymes with every meal, silymarin, glutamine with every meal (have leaking gut).
