Do you feel the lat stretch has done anything for your back width? The stretch im refering to is placing a belt around your waste with say a 100lb dumbell attached and holding it for 60-90 seconds. My back isnt bad and i train hard and heavy but im wondering how much incorperating this may help my width. By the way my back has grown quite a bit since my avi pic so dont go on that, i have gained twenty or so pounds since and seem to be stalling out on gaining width. Thanks its much appreciated
 
yes, i have felt it has made a positive difference in my back. how much, i don't know. i have gotten stronger on my width movements as well so that makes it hard to figure out how much the stretch itself has contributed.

Weighted rack chins for back width.

Hanging stretches are great...at times I would follow up with door knob stretches. ;)
 
I honestly can't tell whether the stretching is doing anything for me but I am enjoying DC.
 
Back width:

1) Rack chins to front
2) Rack chins to back
3) Reverse grip hammer strength high rows

Those are all in my rotation.
 
Chins: overhand with a medium grip
Rack Chins: SOLID negatives
Upright Close Grip Pulldowns: done with the v-bar coming to the nose/mouth area with a 5-6 second negative.

Started me logbook a week ago. Let growing season begin! :D

Personally, I prefer to rotate my stretches almost every workout. Doorknob seems to be the best for me but I like the variation of different angles.

One I like:

Lat Pull stretch...put the pin in at your BW or slightly higher(if that's not enough just add more weight), wrap up on a normal pull down bar, get in position to do pull downs but remain in the stretch position.

What I like to do with this is tuck my legs underneath me instead of in front of me(make sure thigh pad is lowered to hold you in). For me this little tweak of the torso and pelvis puts my back in a position for a tremendous stretch.

when you guys say rack chins, do you just mean weighted pull ups? is there an article on here or is DC outlined on here somewhere tx bros
