Question for those who cruise on low dose Test?

Whether you're on TRT or self medicated, how has year round low dose Test changed your RBC? I'd like to cruise through the end of the year on 100-150 mg a week. My RBC in May was 5.23 which is good. Just wondering if you've seen any changes in your numbers?

Everyone will differ, especially with dose adjustment. Injection frequency also changes the game.

I've been on TRT (200-220mg/week) for over 2 years. Cruising now on 500mg/week and latest hematocrit was 51.9.

When I take my regular dose, and do my injections twice/week, my hematocrit rests in the high-normal range, but doesn't really get out of range. And I'm not worried about a point or two above normal if that were to happen.

Some guys' ranges go crazy on TRT, others don't change even on blast-type dosages. Some have no issues with testosterone but their crit goes nuts on EQ or Deca, etc.

You get the drift It's all individual.

I don't look at RBC, though. Look at 'crit.

Doctors look at hemoglobin usually as a guide. As said above, it is all user dependent. I'm on doc prescribed HRT at 100 mg/wk and at first I was having trouble keeping my hemoglobin down. I had to have monthly phlebotomies for awhile until we got my iron level down. I stopped taking a multi with iron in it and that helped a lot too. Now I get a phlebotomy about once every 3 months and that's all I need to keep my hemoglobin down around 15.

If you are going to cruise on 200 mg or more a week then your chances of having issues goes way up. I don't think most people can take 300 mg/wk plus and not have high hemoglobin build up.

I plan on keeping my test low. My Hemoglobin runs 16.4 with nothing in my system.

Well, even if just running 100 mg/wk it can climb slowly over the months. Keep an eye on it and get tested about once every 4 months at the min.

If you keep your dose the same then your stats should be the same.

What kind of change did you see with your BUN? Mine was a little high 22 but my b/c ratio was good (18)
