Question on getting the dry hard look

Quick Q for everyone :

I am following the body opus diet ( 70% fat and 30% protein) with very good results as far as fat loss but am having a very hard time getting the hard / dry look. Now my body fat is pretty low easily 8 % with a six pack and intercoastals showing very well as well as legs. Problem I am having is having that dry/hard look and the closest I get to that is around 2 days after my 1 day carb up when I am flushing all the water. Diet is good / super supplements are all for diet prep/ h2o is 2-3 gallons daily with 1 gallon being crystal light. Sodium is kept pretty high as well

Any suggestions?
 
for me its all about the carb up with little water. ive never done it to just look good but rather show prep.

for the show, i drink water up until night time then i also use diuretics to flush out remaining water. all while eating a ton of food, this helps me fill out and become dry and hard and full all at the same time.

8% bf is too high for the look that you seek.
Lean out more and you will have it.
