I know this may sound stupid..but it has been on my mind for a while now.
Let’s say I go to Costco and buy a bunch of chicken breast. The label says 100g of chicken breast = 20g protein.
I consume 50g protein per meal, so for as long as I could remember I’ve been cooking 250g of raw chicken. Though once the chicken is cooked, that 250g turns into approx 190g.
So my question is...am I getting my 50g of protein... or am I getting less than that? When the label states 100g of chicken = 20g protein, I am assuming that is measured raw, or am I wrong here?
