I have been off a cycle for 7 weeks now...and the fact that I cant gain muscle during this "unknown how long" period sucks real bad.

I just want to know if somebody here was off a cycle for a long time...more like getting off a cycle and not gaining muscle up until he recovered his nautral gains back...how long did it take him to start gaining muscle back?
 
Your frame of mind is wrong, we assume it's unlikely to make gains in that period but there's no proof it's impossible.

Just like justin harris said in one of the recent md videos, you dont need to lose strength while dieting, in fact I think the main reason you lose strength is because you expect it to happen in the first place.

Remove these futile thoughts and go at it like there's no tomorrow

Has your diet changed? Are you keeping your protein high? Are you sure you're not gaining muscle or just not gaining strength?

Let me give you a quick history about what happened to me. I started a cycle for 8 weeks and it was damn beautiful...8kg of pure MUSCLE...
Then I breaked for about 5 weeks and started another cycle for 20 weeks...the second one was sad because I gained around 2kg or so during the first four weeks then I stopped gaining anything even though I was increasing my cals intake!!! Nothing is worse than injecting roids and not seeing results :confused: ...I reached all the way to 4040cals per day...the only growth I had was hair after I stopped seeing any gains which made me think that next time I...so in my 18th week I stopped and up to now my strenght is the same but I have lost good amount of fat...I dropped from 200lb to around 186lbs right now.

I'd say two things come into play here. You were on cycle for 20 weeks and only netted 2kg of muscle??? You also mentioned you can't gain while off??? I'd say you seriously need to look at your training and diet. Calories are important but the composition of those calories matters more. I would say your training is/was not geared toward making those gains. Also remember, AAS is not the key to growing. It is ALL about DIET and TRAINING. AAS is nothing more than a tool in the tool box to help us do our job more efficiently.

about your advice regarding the diet...I was thinking the same...I thought maybe I need to fix my diet a bit...but believe me buddy my diet was always fixed by my trainer and as I said I tried increasing the calories and we did try different p/c/f ratios with my previous trainer...
currently I'm with Phil...and he told me that I shouldnt expect gains after a cycle...which is exactly what my former trainer said...thats why I wanted to know if anybody experienced the same thing and I wanted to know how long it took them to recover!!
