The older i get the more i discount supplements. I use to have hundreds of dollars of supps on top of my fridge. I have found out over the years that they dont make a hill of beans. You need carbs after your workout, add some oats to your shake. You need energy before your workout eat some complex carbs about an hour before you go to the gym. Most supps are BS. FOOD FOOD FOOD!!! The only supps i now take are vitamines, protein, fiber, fish oil, liver protector, and bcaa's. The supplement industry is a billion dollar industry and false advertising (Smoke and mirrors) is the main reason why.
