Quick Cam Pro 9000 installation?

Hello,

Does anyone own a Quick Cam Pro 9000 webcam? I just bought one and Im having a nightmare installing it on mc PC ( XP SP2) . I did download the latest software from logitech and uninstalled and reinstalled and still have no idea whats causing the cmaera from being undetected. Every time Im prompted to connect the webcam to the USB I do just that and then it never seems to detect the camera... Then the installation continues but the camera remains inop.

Any help will be appreciated!
