for those interested in how effective DNP is, its dangers, sides effects, and documented overdoses,
http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/toxprofiles/tp64-c2.pdf
its a much better read then the dumbed down explanation of how to use DNP, gives a much better insight into the drug
but a few good points from the article found
it shows death can incur from doses as low as 400mgs a day (in women),
males it is much higher with lowest lethal dose recorded at 800mgs (used long term for over a month)
shows metabolic increase is about 10% for every 100mg of DNP ingested
shows the half life of the compound is broken down into 2 metabolites, one being excreted around 36 hours(makes up 85% of DNP) through the urine, the other taking several days (remaining 10-15%)
average body temp increase on DNP with doses less then 500mgs a day were about .5-1.0 degree,s, which was considered safe
noted was the main risk of death on DNP was due to overheating or the risks associated with overheating such as dehydration, unable to egt over heat exhaustion, etc, however this was the least documented reason for DNP deaths, with most deaths resulting from genetic conditions or health conditions effected by DNP
