Tbh between the way we train and the low carb cutting phases we put our selfs through diabetes isn't a very big concern for most off us. It's rare to see diabetic bodybuilders (I'm talking type 2) which considering the amount of gh and slin some use I think is very impressive and says a lot for the lifestyle . I went very high carb this bulk, loads of gh some slin and still didn't pick up any noticeable insulin resistance. Train like a beast,keep bf in check and your playing by a different set of rules

Actually, while I'm not allowed the combination as instructed by my diet coach... Extra Virgin Coconut Oil if fantastic to add to a million dishes. Replace it with any fat you would normally use.

My favorite "whatever" meal is...
12oz ground grass fed beef (chopped up like taco meat, strained of the fat)
unlimited white rice (i've tried sushi and basmati rice... both taste great)
soy sauce to taste (liberally used)
EVCO to taste (liberally used)

This meal rocks my socks off.... and can be a ton of calories for a little guy. If you keep the beef fat in there from the grass fed, you at least know it's healthy fat.

Dave, not to step on anyone's toes, but isn't straining the fat from grass fed beef, then re-adding fat back in (with EVCO) basically defeating the purpose? I know you can't get all the fat out of beef by straining, but if you're going to strip away most of the fat from beef why not just use the cheap stuff? As far as I know most of the benefits of going grass fed are contained within the fat.

Calories natter, but there not the most important thing in my eyes at all. Bigguy is right to a point so long as you don't go silly with calories

I'm lucky enough to have a reasonably slow metabolism so I can get the vast majority of my cals from clean food which I do but every once in a while I'll have a total junk meal , like this , or pizza and he like , Reese puff cereal is a big favorite
