quick q about pins

ok, i ran out of 25 g pins a while ago... all i have now is 23 g (they only sell this size or bigger in my country)... to order 25 g pins will take 2-3 weeks til they arrive (they usually sit at customs... rotting for weeks)... anyway... can i pin my delts with 23 g pins? anyone ever tried that?

Absolutely, I use 23g for everything. Never had the patience for anything smaller.

I don't see why not. Just make sure that you inject at a slower rate, to get the same effect as the 25g needle.

I still remember I was using a 20G to pin my delts, ouch!!!!

no problem using 23g pins now for delt and glute shots.

23 guages are great for everything. I have even used 22 gauge in bicep, so 23guage is fine.

What really matters is how LONG the needle is... when injecting IM, the deeper you reach the muscle the better .

23G1 or 1,1/4 are fine... hell even 20G1,1/2 are... if you can stand the temporary pain But hey don't they say you have to suffer...

yeah... all i have is 23 g 1.25" ... i hit my delt up two days ago... man... PAIN!!! i used to just jab that 5/8" 25 g in there and push... but i had to jab this half way or a bit more ( i just thought 1.25 is too long)... it hurt so bad cuz it was bending slightly... the next day... there wasn't any pain... i guess i have to get used to it
