10iu hum r is pretty easy to not go hypo on. Especially if you have naturally high blood glucose. You really need to test blood glucose to see where it's at
Peps will mess with your insulin sensitivity, they will actually make you less sensitive...I noticed while using peps that I wasn't going hypo with the slin on it's second peak (about 2 1/2 hours) so I waited and waited and still no hypo. Once I dropped the peps it went back to normal

its humulin... its essentially too weak to make you go hypo at that dosage (and too slow acting to do so within an hour)
think about it... your liver holds up to 150 or so grams of glucose...
you WILL NOT go hypo as long as theres still enough glycogen stored in your liver that can be release into the blood stream to balance out the blood sugar lowering effects of insulin.
DO NOT try this on a ketogenic diet, and DO NOT do this before a workout or physical activity. thats when youll have issues
when im full of glycogen i can hit 6-7iu humalog and not feel a thing. blood sugar will drop a bit but i wont go hypo IF IM PHYSICALLY INACTIVE.
10iu + WILL ALWAYS make me hypo on the other hand.
i concluded that from NUMEROUS tests on myself with a blood glucose meter.
10iu of rapid slin will probably always completely empty up your liver glycogen.
with 10iu of humulin this might be different, however its active much longer so you might go hypo an hour or two later.
I can do 15iu fasted of R no problem. You will only go hypo quickly if your blood sugar was already low to begin with. Plus your liver would compensate like jizzmo just explained.

That dose of slin is plenty. Don't wait to get hypo signs. Just know the slin is bringing your blood glucose down and increasing the anabolic environment in your body.
