This statement right here by you "The LAST TISSUE you grew, is the first tissue your body will give up when times get tough." brings tears to my eyes, because man I tried to sledgehammer that in peoples heads for so long about "set points", "viable truly dense muscle mass not lost in the dieting process", especially to the 100's of thousands of guys out there who said "well I bulked up and lost it all when i dieted so it doesnt work"....well of course you did! You never had it in the first place because you bulked up real quick and dieted just as quick. It wasn't real viable muscle mass to begin with.

How long would advise holding a peak off-season weight before cutting? Also what are your thoughts on mini cuts in the off season?
 
Man….i still have some binders and notebooks full of posts and screenshots from the heyday of IM from Dante. Have the OG cycles for pennies thread in its entirety printed, all kids of stuff.
It’s so innately ingrained in me now to eat my protein first, dc stretches even when not training dc, and so many other things
Man i would love if some of these OG guys would make a book, like a real paper book not a stupid pdf so i could lay in my bed and read that shit before going to bed, when i was in prison i used to print out good threads from different forums so i had something to read in my cell at night.

I like how he stepped up and said he took some responsibility for being stupid for following his coach even when it was obvious that things were not working.

Sorry brother but still a good read especially that it's 25 years ago and still holds a lot of information that is known to be true today. Truly ahead of your time.

I learned an awful lot reading it though. I still apply quite a bit of it today, but I can see where you would be uneasy about it being posted

Most of the pictures I take are of my wife’s plates. They look a lot prettier. I usually eat roughly the same thing as the rest, but mine usually has an added chicken breast or a protein shake or something on the side. Dinner is the only meal of the day I eat with my family…so I try to cook yummy food that they will enjoy. On the days when adding a bunch of meat won’t work I do a protein shake to up the protein. But for the most part, dinner is a sort of a cheat meal for me. The rest of my meals are essentially just a meat, and 1.5-2 cups of jasmine rice, or a blended up chicken protein drink. I have ibs among other things that make eating difficult so that dinner meal keeps me sane, and the rest are just to pound nutrients

Another example.

There was a member, good contributor, great physique, quoted some of my personal, private DM’s from me and posted that content on the open forum. That will get you banned faster than a popcorn fart.

A word to the wise. Any private correspondence that was not posted in the open forum is just that, private, and has severe consequences regardless of who you are unless you have prior authorization.
