Radial Shockwave Therapy to remove scar tissue

Has anybody used it... with success?

RST looks promising on paper and in any cases is very helpful for other conditions such as tendinitis, but it's hard to find many testimonies regarding scar tissue and to which degree shockwaves are able to break it down.

Would love to know how it compares to Deep Tissue Massage... stronger in theory, but then again real world is often different.

I've had shock wave done numerous times. Glad we have it in our out patient clinic.

I have a partial hamstring tear, semimembranosus, re-injured it 8-10 months prior to my first treatment. After my first session pain associated with hamstring movements was 90% gone. I did it weekly for the next 6-8 weeks and the pain is completely gone. I still feel tightness associated from the scar tissue, but there's no pain. Glad I decided to give it a go.

Currently doing weekly treatments for long head bicep tendonitis. Since the injury is chronic, I think there may be calcification on the tendon, so that's why I choose shockwave. Shockwave is for chronic injuries, not acute.

I'm definetly interested in this... I was unable to use ultrasound do to having metal plates, but this looks like it doesn't cause heat if I'm reading it right...

Did it years ago, it has not been so successful, in the paper it s like the key to get healed (I suffered from a bad tendonitis in the forearms but really did few to nothing to heal), I understood all milk products was the cause (I only use iso real iso with no lactose in), and it has been a lot successful to get healed.
