I didn’t know about this but found out about it recently.
It seems losing weight rapidly can cause gallbladder stones which gets your gallbladder backed up with bile. Which can then lead to jaundice and Cholestasis of the liver which can lead to liver damage
this may be why certain drugs that aren’t liver toxic still present liver damage, like Tren or dnp
ursodiol acid (UDCA) is usually prescribed for patients after bariatric surgery (the surgery to decrease stomach size to induce weight loss) as well as obese patients who are losing weight rapidly
might be a good idea to add UDCA OR TUDCA when you’re on your next cut if it’s aggressive and you’re going to be losing a lot of weight quickly
