Made the mistake coming in late to my gym. As I walk over to do some
incline curls this idiot next to me says to his buddy, ya we otta go up
to worlds gym where all the steroid freaks hang out. They get on these
cycles and pump all this weight but when they get off, there weak as
shit. what amazed me as he was talking all this shit he was doing standing
barbell curls with a ten pound plate on each end. I myself haven't been on
for a while and I'm not sure what his purpose was for bringing this up but
I sure felt like back handing this big mouth bastard across the face.

Still not done, had to take a bathroom break. Anyway still running his
mouth. He says I'm going to start my own gym called Nick's bodybuilding for
ex cons and have a cartoon picture of this guy on steroids blown up
spitting out little bodybuiders all over the place Laughing his ass off.
Man I was so pissed off. Worst part about it, what can you do, nothing.

Same here. I have been going around 4:45-5:00 am for the last 7 years, and there are maybe 4-6 people there. And it's people that have been there as long as I have.

something similar happened to me once....
so I got a curl bar and put 25 lb plates on each side......without a collar.
Then, I stood pretty close to the guy and OOOPS! Right on his foot, I let the weights do the talking for me when I'm at the gym... :p
 
Come on guys, hurting the retards and idiots will up our dues. Laugh at them. When they say we need to go to....stand real close and talk low, "yeah, you do, go now".

I think this is pretty typical at most gyms. The best way to deal with it is probably just ignore it. I've heard the same shit bud, it sucks that the world is like it is. This is one of those threads that could go on and on about the mentality of laws in our country. It doesn't make sense.

Just know this:

You're not the only one this happens too. At least once a week I have to deal with it, and it's hard to let it go, but you have to if you don't want to ruin your workout.

Actually, what I end up finding is that that's thier way of qualifying thier lack of having any type of physique, or not looking as good as you do. After a while, the talk becomes repetitive, and you realize that after they're done talking about you, an hour goes by and they've never really worked out in the first place.

These fools treat the gym like a hang out and social club rather than a place to work hard to build muscle or maintain cardiovascular health. So let them talk. It's like any situation: There will be talkers and there will be workers. You're a worker - let the talkers talk.

Not at my 24 hour...Try 1-3 am and then you can do what you want...allthough I had the little fag working that morning ask me to rerack the 2 plates I left on the bench...I said,"What, you can't put up 135?!" I know it is courteous to rerack but on bench with just 45's with 3 other benches open with nothin on them???

Anyways the only time shit is fair game is that time of mornin or 12-2pm...
 
I've found that you probably won't see those idiots more than once or twice in the gym. They sign up, don't gain 1 oz. of anything and usually quite in the first month or week for that matter.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. I've seen this guy before. He's
about 57 years old and walks around and bullshits more than he lifts.
Cocky as hell. But curling only 40lbs including the bar. should of ask
if he was off his cycle dam it.
