Without getting into the entire story, can anyone recommend any certifications for training/nutrition that can be done from home?
It's strictly to add credibility because people like that kind of stuff.
Not that I'm not interested in learning but I feel like this forum is a better source of information than nearly anything out there that isnt a masters degree.

A CSCS is the most versatile and widely accepted PT cert. If you have a bachelor's degree it's worth the price.

Jesus christ you're joking?
Not even close. We had Skip, Alex a, John meadows and a host of others since I joined back in 2007 that in terms of knowledge on nutrition and training, I'd put up against nearly anyone at all without hesitation. They've forgotten more than ill probably ever know.
I have no problem wagering that digging through those old gigantic threads that I'd learn more than any non degree certification would get me.
Back then, people posted the peer reviewed research to back their claims and support their arguement.
So yeah, professional muscle is quite literally a library of accurate information. My purpose is not to learn something I cant look up for myself. Im simply not familiar with what certifications are recognized as worth while.
