Recovery differences when "on" or "off"

Recovery differences when "on" or "off"?

I need expert advice on the changes of work load tolerated by an advanced weight lifter when either just going “on” a cycle (increased training volume) or coming off a cycle (decreased training volume). Please try to quantify the specific work load changed that were tolerated.

I define “tolerated” as full recovery without any physiological signs of over training.

To quantify your example it has to be an objective measurement that can be tracked. Try using a Total Work Load method for this.

Example: Flat bench- 135x12 reps= 1620 TWL Total Work Load for just that set. Add all TWL sets for specific exercises, in this case flat bench, over a one week period

Example: Flat bench 135x12 reps= 1620+ 225 x 10 reps= 3870+ 315x8 reps= 6390 TWL for flat bench that day. The next flat bench work out had a TWL for all sets of 7210. Add all flat bench TWL’s together for that week, 6390+7210 to arrive at Weekly Total Work Load WTWL. In this case it would be 13600 for flat bench.

Last step is to add up all the sets for each specific exercise and the number of work out days and to note it next to the WTWL for that exercise.

Example: 13600 WTWL Flat bench (60 sets) 2 days

Thanks for the input!

This may not be what you are looking for, but you failed to stipulate what you are doing when "on" and what your are Doing when"off". My training volume and frequency is directly correlated to what Im using at the time.
I like to stick to lower doses, so "on" for me is a lttle under a gram total.
When I would go completely clean my workload would drop dy about 25%. Depending on the ancillaries used. I seemed to retian alot more strength when I used hcg.
Now however I use 10-12iu's of insulin after every workout and another 12iu's with my BIG Sunday meal. Now my weights and workload stay almost the exact same!
