I have read that some guys need to refeed twice a week. Can anyone explain when I know to add two a week? Is it I'd your losing weight to fast? My bf is 7-8% right now

If you are losing more than 2lbs per week and if you feel very flat. But this question can only be answered by someone that knows your goals and everything else you are doing
 
Back in the days, as i was getting closer to a show, i would cut my re-feeds to twice a week to once a week.

Nowadays i just do it once of twice. Mostly twice works out fine for me.

It depends on your goal and where u're at. It also depends on your body type and your training style (i.e. DC or high volume training).
 
There are so many variables that make this hard to answer.

If you are in a big calorie deficit then more frequent refeeds MIGHT be needed , if you are extremely lean and have a fast metabolism , if you have a labor intensive job , if you are over training they might be needed.

What is your current body weight and body fat %
What does your current diet look like
What kind of job do you have
What do your workouts look like
 
Through experience and with clients I've found the leaner you are, the more frequently you can benefit from refeeds.
 
Thanks for the feedback guys. Tomorrow I am going to keep same diet, but add extra carbs. Saturday I will do normal refeed and see how my body responds. Thanks again!
 
Depend of your bodyfat% level, the leaner you are, the more refeeds you should incorporate.

For my athletes, i generally recommend 2 refeeds a week when they are 6 weeks to the show :) (else they start being stringy).

I have to agree with pretty much everything people have posted but if you are truly walking around at 7-8% bf you are a candidate for what you are asking about. As others have said though it all depends on goals, bf, how far out, etc.....
