Reference testosterone value by age to show my doctor?

Can anyone post a link to testosterone levels with age I can show my doc. I don't want my doc to put me at 3-400 range and say thts all I can get.

make sure your levels eventually fall into the median for you age!!

doctors are are scared to write scripts for test often find some chart where it says: the range of testosterone in men is 100ng/dl-1000ng/dl. (arbitrary figures)

what men are they talking about? range doesn't mean average. so perhaps men means 18-80 and one 80 year old got tested who had some prob and had a test level of 100. so the doctor says 'well if i get him over 100 he is in "range" and good to go'. this is bs and is designed to cover the doctors ass cause testosterone for some ridiculous reason is taboo.

getting you to the lowest number of the possible range is totally different than getting you to real average for your age

Lukily my old endo didnt have a problem with me being over average on my test levels. It was about mid 800s. She went more by how I was feeling than what the number was. Most docs start you at 200 mg/2 weeks. Insist on doing it 100 mg/wk to keep levels more consistent and they shouldnt have an issue with that because all you need is 2x the pins.

100 mg/wk puts most men at that average level of in the 600s.

Thanks. I will be happy with being average at around 650. Don't want more don't want less. I am just worried about getting like 50 mg a week lol.

im sitting on about 800 on my level, and i feel great. endo has me on clomid 50mgs a day. (to stay fertile untill the wife is pregnant) had my estroidal levels checked last visit, they where high. now im on femera in addition to clomid.

how much test r u on to be at 800 or are you only on clomid 50 mg a day alone??

150 a week only gets me to about 540.

My MD prescribed Testosterone patch. I did NOT fill the script. I began taking HCG (400iu) and Clomid (50), alternating days. My testosterone went up to 830.When I returned i told him what I had taken instead. He was very interested and pleased I shared this with him.

Is there any danger in continuing this? Blood clots, elevated blood pressure? Will my T level remain high? Should I begin .25 Arimidex? What is the lowest acceptable dilution for HCG? Why can't one do this instead of taking T?

I don't think it offers additional benefits but you do go through more pins than a pincushion.

Most of the other questions I'll leave to others but I'm quite sure that eventually you'll desensitize to a high enough level of this. Could be wrong. I'd personally opt for 1/week test

Yeah, id worry about the long term consequences and the prospect of diminsihing returns. There must be a reason that docs dont prescribe that protocol over the test gels/injections. The once per week inj of test has worked fine for me.
