Keep it in the fridge. That will mean that the average temperature of refrigerated GH is slightly lower, so degradation will also be ever so slightly lower. Also, if you have say a 20ml vial of BAC water, then you might be using it for 20 days. The BA in there acts as an antibacterial, but it is by no means perfect. there might be some mutant multi resistant bacteria which is does not kill, not to speak of fungus etc. (Also, some producers might put in less BA than indicated). So if you keep the vial at room temperature, then the traces of bacteria, fungi, etc. (which naturally get in there despite swabbing the surface) will grow at a much faster rate compared to a refrigerated vial. And after 20 days there might be enough bacterial growth to give you an infection.
Both things are very subtle and mostly too small in effect to be noticed. But why risk it in the first place when it takes 0 effort to keep the vial in the fridge with the rest of your stuff?
