Merle was an icon to his genre of music. He will be missed!

The hag was a part of our family, we grew up listening to him for all of my life...so many damn memories, he was such a legend and cool ass guy.

There's not very many true legends around any longer from that era, he was one of the best, probably my favorite. This one hits home for me, just so many memories from his music and people and family I know who knew him IRL. Seen him a handful of times in concert, and I am honored that I got to see him play, he was the real deal and irreplaceable.

This really sucks ass, I already listen to him all the time, gonna bump it up a few notches for awhile now.
