My favorite bodybuilder of all time.
He was a very unique individual that was full of wisdom, not just about the sport, but about many things in life. I don't know if there was ever a bodybuilder more passionate about training than Serge.
Serge had a stroke in 2009, some claim he was poisioned not sure if he ever recovered to "get big" again so not sure if he died in a weakened emaciated state which is every bb'ers nightmare.
One of the greatest bb'ers ever.
If he was born 40 years later nobody woulda ever heard of Jay or Ronnie winning the O.
Wow so I'm reading the forums and I'm really upset about Serge. I know it seems silly, but he is one of the reasons that I am who I am today. It was his image that fueled my deepest motivations. I feel like I lost a friend. He represents the beauty of bodybuilding, not like these drugged out freaks of today
He did. But hadn't the opportunity to realize it, as his stroke in 2009 left him senile in a wheelchair... so all in all I don't think he ever suffered from seeing himself "like that". Which is good.
