Resting Heartrate Elevated Post Show

I wear a fitbit quite often and it seems that post show on July 10th my resting heart rate has elevated pretty substantially and stayed higher. Has anyone experienced this and have an explanation regarding it? Obviously I have gained the ~25 post show pounds, but my expectation dropping things like clen and a lot of anabolics was that the RHR would go back down to somewhere in the ~70 range.

Since the show it's been showing it at pretty much 80 plus.

In the days leading up to the show (even on a shitload of clen) it was reading 67-68 as my RHR.

Sounds like it's got to be the rapid weight gain. If I were you I'd cut back on calories substantially and reevaluate how you feel after 2 weeks or more. Also take a look at your Na intake. A lot of that weight is probably water.
That fluid retention puts more stress on your heart, I bet your BP is up considerably. Your heart has to beat faster to compensate for a deceased stroke volume.

At one time I had a rhr of around 105 bpm. An echocardiogram showed my ejection fraction at about 35%, I had cardiomyopathy.

I don't think that's you now. Your's came on way too fast.

I was going to do some heart tests just in case but insurance gone at the end of the month and the morons in medicine were claiming 2 months out scheduling for an echocardiogram.

I guess I didn't realize that water retention would push it up, and in a more substantial way than the stims beforehand. BP is definitely up, I've had a few headaches even.

Cutting back on carbs , greatly increasing the water intake has worked for me in the past. Glycogen holds water intercellular so even though we don't look "bloated" the body wanting to hold on to everything let's us hold a bit more in stores than normal
Adding an over the counter diuretic like Vitamin c and dandelion root would probably help expedite the water processing as well

My pulse and blood pressure are perfect, but I have noticed, even several weeks after finishing a long-lasting cut, that my legs swell due to water retention. I didn't think that rebout effect could last that long.

Simply deplete your glycogen stores and you will drop water weight like a stripper drops her money maker. Then slowly titrate carbohydrates back up.

If I remember correctly, I listened to an interview with ‘Sully’, The pilot who landed the airplane on the Hudson, and he reported an elevated heart rate of something like 100 or 200 for a couple of weeks after the event.

Sounds like his cortisol was sky high. I can see why!

If your taking GH try dropping that until your weight balances out that may also help
