How many of you are using this? I decided to give it a shot. Been on it for just a week and a half so far, microdosing 0.5mg daily. I have noticed a reduced appetite (but not crushed by any means). I seem to be getting away with eating slightly more. I looked lean this morning despite a Thanksgiving feast last night.

I haven’t weighed myself yet on purpose, I am not dieting now so I am not expecting much of a change on the scale, nor do I really care much.

My only negative is it has increased my resting heart rate. Taking an extra Nebivolol hasn’t really helped either, since apparently, it acts on the s node of the heart, so a beta blocker won’t be as effective for lowering RHR.

It’s really early obviously but this is what I have noticed so far.

I’d like to hear other people’s experiences with Retatrutide (or even Tirzepatide and Semaglutide if you’d like).

I've only used sema and it did its job. I don't feel the need to use the other ones. I will use it again when I decide to cut down. People are using it low dose continually but I am not so sure that's a good idea yet. Heard of people having stomach issues or appetite issues so I don't want to keep taking it for the suggested health benefits

I am using 0.5mg of it 3X a week, which is my off days. I have found that this set up doesn’t impact my RHR, gives the benefits and doesn’t hit my hunger or appetite. So far, I’m a huge fan of micro dosing it this way. Certainly am staying leaner.

Without any impact on curbing appetite, what benefits are you seeing? I ran tirz when it first came out over a year ago and it crushed my appetite and made me exhausted all day, very strong compound. I dropped it after 4 weeks @ only 2mg/week. I have some Reta on the way, not sure what to expect but ill run the same protocol, start at .5mg MWF and go from there.

Increased metabolism and lower inflammation are the two benefits we are using it for with this set up. I’m in a progressive phase so not looking to decrease appetite.

Seems like Semaglutide causes worse stomach issues than the others, but doesn’t lower RHR as much. I have no stomach issues on Reta.

I’m going to switch to this same dosing regimen

Do food sources matter with this stuff? For instance as bbxtreme said he takes it on off days would in theory these drugs work better with low carb, high fat, or better with high cals or low cals? It's designed for diabetics so what does that say about type of diet that works best?

I think food sources always matter. But on my low days I am low carb and higher fat even in my progressive phase. We also reverse carb load on these days- no carbs until my last meal and I only eat 4 meals.

This IMO does maximize its effects so is strategic, but wouldn’t say it’s required.

My experience with tirzpatide is similar though I'm dosing every day. I've been using it for a few weeks - no impact on RHR, no impact on appetite. I still put down 6,000-8,000 calories every training day. It's definitely helping me stay leaner and has been great for maintaining insulin sensitivity.

What sucks about tirzepatide is Eli Lilly has sent legal notices to lots of places selling it so it's getting harder to find. My current vial will run out in a few days and I'm switching to retatrutide. Theoretically it should be more impactful since it works on three receptors while tirzepatide works on two.

I don’t think dietary strategies would make a difference whether you take GLP1’s or not. Eat the way you normally would regardless. It’s still calories in, calories out.

The half lives of these are around six days so I don’t see how it would matter whether they are taken on training days or off days. @bbxtreme what’s the logic behind only injecting on off days?

The insulin sensitivity aspect is great and prob a good reason to stay on it especially with gh use am I right? For people still wanting to gain maybe it's just finding that sweet spot where it doesn't effect appetite

@slesh is also microdosing Tirzepatide (you guys might have spoken about it) and he told me he gets a profound reduction in glucose from it according to a continuous glucose monitor.

ive tried all of them and also tried survodutide.
all of them besides semaglutide increased my RHR. survodutide the most due to it being a true Glucagon agonist.
here is a great article about them:

From my research I have read and also personally found that Reta's main mechanism isn't so much appetite suppression as much as tirz and sema is. It works on another pathway, don't 100% quote me but I believe some type of thermgenic effect. I've used it a few times and honestly didn't get much out of it, tirz works well but made me feel crappy which always happens whenever something slows my digestion and sema the same along with other crappy side effects, sema especially can be rough.

No heart rate issues but that's never really been an issue for me with anything.

I’ve been having the same issue with Retatrutide. I started wearing a CGM two weeks ago just because I am really trying to dial things in this phase.

Since adding the Retatrutide my fasted BG can drop low between meals and fast. My fasted has been staying much lower than I would suggest so we moved calories around to offset.

I never really thought a CGM would help “that much” for guys like us, but I fully stand corrected. Lol

Have you noticed hypo symptoms on reta? On tirzep, I was going hypo a lot. Because of the 3 pronged approach of Reta, I found I could be in upper 60s bgs and be fine where on tirzep same numbers made me feel awful,

Only once which is why I started wearing the CGM. But I can get in the 60’s and feel fine. Any lower and I start to feel it. Even if a little lower I don’t really feel the hypo symptoms.

I really like this approach when trying to grow with almost zero fat gain. Found it pretty damn effective.

Is this something i should pursue this new category of drugs If IL not bodybuilding? My only goals are anti aging healthy lifestyle and lean muscle I'm an expert in everything besides this new peptide field which began with ozempic. Is it suitable for my life needs and goals probably not?

Possibly. The medical literature has only been in obese people but their results are simply fantastic. It could be a health promoting peptide for healthy people too, however it can increase heart rate and lower heart rate variability, so the jury is still out. Clearly, it improves insulin sensitivity in healthy people as well as fat people.
