Rethinking BPC-157: A proactive approach for "dry" cycles?

Hey guys,

We’ve been seeing more talk lately about using BPC-157 and TB-500 as "cycle insurance" rather than just injury repair. Specifically, running them alongside dry compounds like Winny or Var to get ahead of the joint issues before they start.


Curious to hear the community’s take:

• Is anyone here running a low maintenance dose proactively to stay fluid on a cut?

• Or do you guys still view these strictly as "emergency" protocols for after a tweak happens?

Always looking to see how you guys are actually applying these in the real world.

When i have added them in as part of my maintenance protocol i noticed no difference.
 
I agree it’s traditionally used reactively, but the idea here is stress accumulation on dry cycles. Even without an acute injury, tendons and connective tissue take a hit. Using it proactively is more about mitigating that wear before it becomes an issue.

On dry compounds, recovery and connective tissue lag behind muscle strength. BPC isn’t about gains, it’s about keeping joints and soft tissue aligned with training intensity so injuries don’t dictate the cycle.


I take both of them indefinitely. I don't stop taking them unless I run out.
 
dosing can vary depending on whether someone is using it as proactive maintenance or for recovery. On “dry” cycles, many users report low, consistent doses to keep connective tissue and joints supported without going overboard, enough to stay aligned with training stress but not so much it feels like a full therapeutic protocol.
Makes sense. At what dose would you use?
 
I have tried this, but I’m not deep in numerous cycles so my data may not be the best. Ive always had pissy tendons and joints, plus consistently high inflammation biomarkers. I ran 500mcg per day for about 11 months. It did significantly reduce those markers and there was a notable difference with general aches.
