Rice Cooker Recommendation

What about for a few days, a week?

Ideally would like to make a large batch and consume it over the following week

Anything keeping something hot/warm for that long will likely have issues just due to temperature, pulling water out of food, condensation etc. Think about chafing dishes all day that caterers use or on a buffet.

No. Aroma isnt one of the rice cookers you can let it sit for days. It'll get saugy and nasty.

It literally takes 3 minutes to make a fresh batch of rice. Scoop 3 cups, fill to line 3 with water. Throw it - hit white rice or sushi rice. Go shower, answer emails whatever, 20 mins later you have fresh rice for the day.

Question for the guys with Aroma cookers. Do you have any issues with it spewing out water from the vent while it's cooking? Also, how is the cleanup? I had one in 2014 and you really had to take it apart the lid to actually get it clean. It was not a quick process. I'm wondering if they've gotten any better.

There shouldn’t be any water coming out. Just steam, unless you are overfilling it.

Easy to clean. You take the pot out, wash it or put it in dish washer.

Agree with this. I will also apply oil inside the cooker. Also each rice is a custom job. Start with general guidelines on water fill and adjust from there until you get it perfect.
