No one loved the Raiders more than Al Davis. Unfrortunately, in the last 20 years, the game had passed him by. As a Raider fan, it's been difficult to watch. I have to agree that the Raiders chances for success have improved with Mr. Davis' death.

The sad part is he really tarnished his legacy the second half of his time in football.Early he did some good things for the whole league.Nobody has recently left the Raiders organization being player,coaching staff,front office etc with anything good to say about him.Sad he became so controlling and he couldn't see past the end of his nose and realize that it obviously wasn't working.
