Knew gator for a very long time, since about 2004 from the Iron Trybe, very sad to hear. I know he was a bad alcoholic for a long time, but I heard recently he was cleaning that up. He always treated me with respect and for a long time would ask me for advice on certain things...though i'll admit, it'd been a very long time since i'd heard from him.

May he rest in peace, and I hope he is in a better place now.

Gator did clean up his act and was back on track. He left behind a new Bride and a very young son. He had 2 strokes and a blood clot over a 2 day period.

this is solid info coming from a good friend of mine from another pvt board and he talked directly to Gator's wife on the phone.
