Reg Park: 7 June, 1928 - 22 November, 2007


It is with great sadness that we have to inform Reg Park’s friends, fans and supporters around the world that Reg passed away this morning, 22 November 2007.

Reg’s remaining time with us was spent with great dignity surrounded by a sea of love and good wishes from around the globe. He expressed his most sincere thanks and love to all who supported and loved him throughout his life. Reg and his family also wished to thank everybody who sent so many beautiful messages of support throughout his illness.

The Legend will continue to live in our hearts and our souls.

The memorial will take place at 8 Gail Road, Morningside, Sandton, South Africa, on Sunday afternoon at 16:30, 25 November 2007. Please post all your messages via Reg's Guestbook.

What a great loss to the sport. The guy was everything a bber should strive to be. Big ,strong, handsome, humble , kind , and classy . I met him and his son at the old world gym in venice and I was in awe with the guy .One of the true greats in the sport . Sad that he had to fight with cancer during the final stage of his life . It is a very hard way to go out . I hope he was content and comfortable when he went ......R.I. P .

Sad to hear this new. He made a big name for himself and was a very successful man. RIP Reg!

Arnolds Idol Mr. Reg Park

learning about Arnold resulted in me learning a bit about this man and his integrity, discipline and grace to help others and share his knowledge. i guess this means we are getting older guys...
i hope we all leave such a positive legacy behind.
