Road to first show log

I would strongly suggest against doing that with your insulin intake. That’s how you create inflammation and blow out your waist. As much as it sucks to hear this- suck it up and eat more clean food. Pick less dense clean food options if it becomes an issue. But free meals are not the solution.
What’s your opinion on say sugary cereals and Rice Krispy treats. Both these aren’t necessarily clean but low in fat and may help get the carb intake in easier. If digestion is unaffected would you not be opposed ?

You want to avoid processed sugar due to the inflammation. Using a clean cereal PWO with insulin is fine, but eating kids cereal (or rice crispy treats) with meals ongoing will cause issues. Not to mention the iron kids cereal is fortified with.

Check out One Degree Organic Brown Rice Crisp. I buy it by the case on Amazon. Clean, easy calories.

One thing I can say 💯 is that I can count on one hand with no fingers how many times AJ or Milos ever told me to eat a free meal. If up to either of them I would have had zero. 😂

Not directed at me but I would also agree with the response you got to it

Also Stefan Kienzl (seems to be the flavour of the month coach) said he believes corn flakes to be the perfect post workout carb. I’ve been doing 150g with some fruit and almond milk PWO goes down easy

Corn cakes and jam with some cinamon. I wouldn't even want to know how many of those I could put away!!! On my high days I've had upwards of 10to20 at a time and they have gone down so easily.

I can second this. Only issue I ran into was going hypo. Carbs hit fast and I’d spike super duper high. Then about 30-45 later the sweats came in hard every single time but very person dependent.

Honey’D Corn Flakes by Natures Path was my go to PWO on high days for a while. Key word is clean- use something with cane sugar for example during that insulin window and you’re golden.

@humzaroyan I believe Amy’s makes organic rice crispy treats. I wouldn’t go crazy with them, but are an option as you really push. And don’t forget you can drink calories too. Clean Gainer has been a go to for me this phase.

All noted, also took a look at your diets from your own log for some inspiration. Wanted to ask what are your thoughts on bagels / bread products. Any you would avoid or can those be implemented to a certain degree as well?

I feel more bloated and distended from cream of rice than I do from bread. How do you digest bread?

dude so easily. In my breakfast ive been doing COR but then with 4 slices of white toast. I'll also do English muffins with another meal and get on great with them. I find with some honey and jam , bread is the easiest way for me to get a lot of carbs. Do you also use a good amount of bread products? Apologies if I missed it but I don't think I've seen you post your diet before

I personally do because I'm the same way as you. It never upsets my stomach and doesn't bloat me. I know a lot of guys don't get along with bread though which is probably why bodybuilders don't use it much. But I just haven't had a reason not to use it so I do..🤷‍♂️

I’d do real sourdough or Ezekial. Over time the bleached flour in regular or white bread will likely catch up to your GI.

Great advice from @bbextreme

Be carefull with cheat meals and chads protocols he even blew up ronnies waist and ronnie has god tier genetics and more real muscle than half our forum

Wish all the best to you

This is gonna be the peak for this first push up. Hit 240 fasted (im 5'10) and with calories at 6k on training days, appetite has taken a decent hit. Not force feeding but with body fat being the highest I like it to be, I'm going into a 6 week mini cut beginning Dec 22. Going to drop dosages by 50% and aim to drop 15lbs or so. Should be in a good spot then to do another 16 week push up before going into prep. My plan was to do classic physique but a lower body injury has held me back from training quads for the last month. Hence why they look a bit smaller compared to my earlier updates. So may be doing mens physique for this year's competition season.
