So.. looking through the July issue of Muscle and Fitness, I noticed this ROCK HARD CHALLANGE. Basically, three month Challange... they give you the diet, the workout, and the timeline. All you have to do is stick to it, and possibly win $2500.00
After much debate, I decided to give it a shot. Is anyone here familiar with it? Although, im not going to post the entire thing...here is a summary
Month 1: (180 Pound Man... adjust to your weight)
There are three meals, a High, Medium and Low Calorie Meal
HIGH MEAL
CALORIES: 3244
PROTIEN: 280
CARBS: 450
FATS: 31
MEDIUM MEAL
CALORIES: 3028
PROTIEN: 276
CARBS: 408
FATS: 32
LOW MEAL
CALORIES: 2839
PROTIEN: 275
CARBS: 372
FATS: 27
You rotate the three meals on a three day cycle.. the 7 day (or after two cycles) you can have a cheat meal.
The work out is a bitch!
Basic theroy for month 1 is HEAVY WEIGHT. Alot of 6,6,6,10,12,12 sets... hits every body part on a 4 day split
Now month 2 is not out, but im assuimg that month 1 is more a bulking month (i know people on here dont like that phrase) but anyone, to add calories, add muscle.)
I would assume month 2 and 3 will see a reduction in Carbs and Calories to help reduce body fat.
Also, cardio is 3 days a week or more if you feel like it.
Any opinions... has anyone seen this?
