Is this true?


Guys on the juice are almost always gonna have a girl instead of a boy?
It's something I didn't believe, but I've seen many pros/celebs/and anyone else on the juice, have their kids be girls. It seems their first baby is always a girl


If this is true, why? Low sperm count side effects maybe?

I dono...but I got my wife pregnant while on cycle and last Saturday we had our baby...it was a girl. So it was true for me.

Anything that claims there are ways to specifically have a boy or a girl are completely unsubstantiated.. Guys have 2 types of sperm - X for girls and Y for boys.. They're produced in equal proportions, and if anything bad happens to them for whatever reason, they should perish in equal proportions.. So on average there should be an equal ratio between the 2 sexes.. This is not the case in all countries however, such as in China or Saudi Arabia, where there are clearly more boys born - but this is because boys are preferred in those countries, and infant girls are either more readily put up for adoption, or unfortunately even killed..

I can see how theories like this would start tho.. Say 20 couples try a certain method to specifically have a girl.. It would not be ALL that odd for there to be 12 girls born and only 8 boys - just by simple probability.. This would fuel this as a credible method to have girl tho, with that small sample size.. Flip a coin 20 times, and chances are you won't get exactly 10 and 10.. That's just how a 50/50 chance works..

True but the results aren't consistent with a 1/2 probability of the offspring being either sex. The conjecture is an attempt to explain the results obtained. If the study was methodologically sound then the results contradict the 1/2 probability assumption. But before throwing out the 1/2 probability assumption we would want to at least see their results replicated in a few more studies.

Why the hell didn't someone tell me this before I had two girls. I thought God was paying me back for my younger days. Damn!!!!!

Pre-juice I had a son. After a girl and then twin girls. These girls were the first to be born on my dad's side of the family since Ireland like five generations ago. I catch constant hell.

I have four girls...two from a previous marriage were my cycles were completed a couple months before conception. My two younger daughters from a long break (13 yrs) after cycle.

From what I understand your body can create more x or y...and some factors have to do with when you conceive and how to increase your chances by timing when you conceive. Plenty of information if you google. Some of it has to do with the women and if she is more acidic, which wrecks havoc on the male chromosome, or more alkaline, which is male friendly.

I could really care less...I am one blessed happy father of four beautiful gifts from God. I don't create 'um I just enjoy the process!

ive heard the same...

lot of BBers and athletes have girls... In the US their are more women then men.. is that just for continuation of our species and why males are heralded more often because they are socially more wanted or needed for continuation of species? Not sure the answer... but their def has been a trend of girls from BBers and athletes who have supplemented in their life.

I agree with this. I also feel that a lot of it is in the genes. Every first born from my family, has been a male. That goes for cousins, uncles, and all of my brothers and two sister's children, as far back as anyone can recall!

My wife's brothers have all had only girls. Except for her youngest brother, who had 2 girls and about one month ago had twin boys.
(But I really think that he had in-vitro fertilization.)

Because one of my friends had it done, to ensure that he finally had a boy, but his wife actually gave birth to 3 boys. When in-vitro is done they fertilize more than one at a time to ensure a successful fertilization.

One thing that I did notice as a physical difference is that her family is completely hairless, they hardly even have facial hair. My family on the other hand is very hairy. Could that be some kind of indication? Who knows.


As far as the sperm being equal and perishing the same way, etc. I feel that this is not true, since they are able to control the sex of the baby, I think certain sex sperm swim faster, but whatever it may be, there is obviously something that is unique to one that can help science control the sex.
