Obviously I get what your saying it’s not that Rich doesn’t come to my mind when I think of duche qualities but he didn’t compete during the peak of his ducheness and represented his own thing separate (imo) from IFBB competition or the Olympia.

When I think of the Olympia I think of it’s history and the previous winners and hope that legacy to continue. Same as the Arnold that guy is a hero of mine more than anyone and in my mind I hold those competitors to somewhat a higher standard than I did ol Rich on YouTube

I guess I see the two as representing two completely separate things in terms of what they were/are attempting to achieve

Car accident I Believe

I don't think that scar is from the accident, but wow did he ever have a bad one! Look at these pictures. The hole in his hamstring is really nasty looking.

The duchebag hat ruins it for me. I guess it’s a little thing but I prefer guys who appear intelligent as well as muscular so that should they win they represent bodybuilding appropriately

Agreed man I don’t give Jay a pass either!

Maybe I’m just getting old. I guess if I had an open mind I would say maybe he will attract more people to bodybuilding or something like that. I don’t take anything away from R’s accomplishments in recent years I like him as much as any of the other competitors.

The competition is so close these days for 2nd or 3rd down and every little detail or impression made to potential judges probably matters. Maybe not a sideways hat but never know.

Instead of blowing him up like a cannon ball...if they dieted him down harder (even if he lost some muscle), he'd still have plenty to be competitive on that stage.

He has the 3d muscle bellies of like a Dexter and Phil, and more size on top of that; just needs condition.

Easier said than done I guess.
