Sweet clip and so true, i was hearing shit at the new years party from friends, most of whom had a nice belly on them.
 
Cool clip, so when do you eat the burgers mac salad cake ect, do you ever eat that stuff or do u eat clean everyday all yr round, how many days a week or meals do you cheat on in a day? Im curious because i have at least 1 cheat meal a every 3rd day in the offseason and it seems to work great , whats your opinion on this?
 
This is why this sport just isnt worth the extremes, some guys push themselves pass the limit and think there in the best shape of their life and in actuality their on the doorstep of death.

And people ask me why cant you take this sport seriously, well how serious is serious were talking our health our future? makes no sense, I use barely anything and still grow and achieve what I want outta this sport whether its worth a trophy or not I really dont give a damn.

I guess it only matters if you really want to beat someone who is NOT eating hamburgers! LOL!

Dave had some serious competition that year and was determined to do everything he could to win. That's the kind of guy he is...all or nothing. You can disagree with his philosophy, RTB is not an instructional video, he's not trying to tell anyone how to live, but you can't argue with his success.
 
i like it when i get all them comments about the way i eat from my family. i pretty much tell them its simple i eat the way i eat because i dont want to look the way you look. its mean, but its to the point. if you eat shit, you look like shit.

Those are the foods that work best for him. That doesn't mean he doesn't know a lot about food. Look at his contests picks and you'll see why.
 
Where's the EFAs?
Wheres the omega 3,6,9 fatty acids coming in at?
Wheres the red meat?
Wheres the egg yolks?
wheres the essential oils: fish, almond, borage, salmon, etc.?
where is the whey protein isolate?
It seems like a good 1990s diet before bodybuilders based thier diets around good fats. But if it works for him, which it does, more power to him.

He mentions that he has a place for most of these in his off season diet in his Q & A. Also he has no protein shakes before a contest, I believe to keep his metabolism at a higher rate if I remember correctly from his Q&A.

Id Be pissed off to If I had to eat like that and watch the family eating the Chocolate Cake! Much Respect to Him Though. You Have to admire the willPower he has. Mind over matter I guess But I dont think many are tough enough or serious enough to do it. Some, but not to many.

ANY person that oversees vegetables as the basis of a diet doesn't know much What he is talking about.

If you believe that your body can work well or at it's prime without the best source of vitamins/minerals and fiber must be a little off in his nutrition.

Plus he ends up having calluses in your arse after passing those bricks.

His statement was very clear and he never said that those foods work for him he said that those a re the food that work. About contest pics: i never said that that system will not work just that it isn't intelligent.

dave is right, no matter what we do we always come back to these foods to get in shape. hell he is talking about making the leanest body possible. and if you have seen him in person (i have) he is friggin lean! some people do the veggies but the oatmea he eats has enough fiber. plushe may take a fiber supplement. im sure he also takes a multi vit/mineral every day too. you dont have to agree w dave but you can argue his results.

the deleted post says rude comment. being new to the board you cant just come here and bash respected pm members. thats not tolerated. dave has been around a long time and deserves respect. he is very pleasent in person, and helps as many people as he can. so theres no need to bash him and say he doesnt know nuthin. are you saying you know better (how many times you have done it a how successful it is and post some pics.) then just say i like this instead. not what you said. theres a reason why this is the best board around....its not a bashing flaming forum. you have to back up what you are saying.
