Running test with a longer ester all the way into a show

Whats up guys I was just wondering if any have done this and if so what kind of condition did you bring to the stage. I know the water weight will throw off alot of the crisp detail, but is there some way to keep the longer ester test in and still be able to drop the water weight needed or is it just not possible and should I just drop the longer ester test a few weeks out??. Maybe some vets can chime in to help me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I only have one show under my belt but this is what I did in regards to my test. weeks 1-7.5: test e
weeks 6-9: prop

As you can see i dropped the enth about 12 days out from the show and the prop(all anabolics) that monday before.
