Same drug, different brands, different results.

Interesting subject for a healthy discussion, I'd hope...

So, I won't even go into pharma grade versus underground, don't wanna beat a dead horse.

Lets talk legit pharmaceutical products here for a while.

Advil vs Motrin
Synthroid vs Euthyrox
Norditropin vs Genotropin vs Humatrope
Cialis vs Apicalis

Etc, etc, etc...

So, what gives? Why such a huge difference in results? I know people who take Synthroid and ended up in the emergency room for taking the exact same dose of Euthyrox or Puran.

Some brands of tadalafil give me no sides at all, while others attack my sinuses.

People who have tried different brands of HGH report very different results and sides from each of them.

So, share your experiences and thoughts.

I have had a medication in generic form from 5 different generic companies and all were different. One company, actually last month were useless. They had to been stale, filled with nothing but fillers and buffers or something. I will never use that generic company again. I flushed them they were so useless. You'd think in the USA the FDA would have them all equal, but not true. I know of generic companies as strong as name brand. So name brand is usually the best here, but I know of solid generic companies as good as name brand and 75% cheaper.

Main compound is the same with all products but I believe quality and purity is what is different. Genetropin and humatrope are far beyond and other Gh I have ever tried. That's just my personal belief though

You need to read this

My thoughts if you do go with generic just stay with the same pharmacy that the correct levels were achieved with. This is for the generic synthroid levothyroxine.

There are certain processing techniques, stabilizers etc used in compounding which can alter the absorption of the drug, or help maintain its shelf life and potency.

A good example is prilosec 24 hour vs generic time release omeprazole. Most people I know find that a single prilosec pill will cover them for over 24 hours, while the same dose of the generic stuff may need to be dosed twice a day. I'm not saying that there is a lower dose of active ingredient, but that there may be inferior compounding techniques used in the generic.

Interesting...Makes sense to me.

Exactly, generics are supposed to contain the same active ingredients. The inactive ingredients does not have to be the same and therefore sometimes can cause interactions/problems where the drug is not as effective or has other side effects.

Hey to the guys who run human grade gh, do you get the numb hands and deep sleep and water retention from it? Just curious why one brand would cause it and others would not, if one brand causes it but not another wouldn't that mean that it's not the actual growth causing it but something else?

Back when I used to use Serostim(been roughly five years or so), I got all those side effects although the water was minimal. It was more like a muscle fullness than bloat. It didn't effect my veinyness(if that is a word).

Example. Claritin D 24 hour vs generic version. Even though it says 24 hour the generic lasts about 12 hours. It seems the time release coating is much, much better on the name brand.

I heard the timed released Tramadol works way better than the 50mg ones. I am supposed to take 50mgs 6 times a day for back pain. I would much rather take 2 timed released that worked, than 6 that barely work. Been trying to get my Primary to switch me for months and they don't stock that version (supposedly ) at the clinic I go to.

I have had generic Xanax that were weak compared to the name brand. I also read they had a generic times released Xanax but it was called XR or anything and one would have no idea unless they googled it, not sure how true it was.
Point is I have def noticed a big difference in some generics.
