I just got back from the contest...

As usual, Jay was heads and tails above the rest...

1. Jay Cutler
2. Chris Cormier
3. Dexter Jackson (I think)
4. Melvin Anthony
5. Troy Alves

I can't remember for sure about 3rd and 4th place. To be honest, I was so hungry...I hadn't had a meal since 6:30, so I was hurtin'...

Jon Jackson looked AWESOME for not being a "big name"...Chris Cormier DID NOT deserve 2nd place. He came in WAY to heavy and smooth. I swear the dude just can't get in ripped condition of that which is needed to win a contest. Some of the guys that fared below him looked better than him--even if they weren't necessarily as symmetrical as Chris.

Jay Cutler is awesome. He still looked good even one week after his win at the Arnold. When all 5 of the last competitors did the posedown, they all went out to the crowd and started posing. The place went friggin' NUTS. These guys, especially Jay, are just friggin' huge up in person.

Gunther and Ronnie showed up. I was standing 10 feet from Gunther and I'm tellin' ya folks, I didn't think I'd ever say this, but TV DOES NOT do this man justice. He's a friggin truck. We're talkin' Mag-10. The dude is friggin' HUGE. The vein on his bicep is bigger than like my calves or something...I'm serious...

Gunther and Ronnie didn't "showdown" like they wanted you to believe. They finally took their shirts off and did a little pose with microphones in hand up in front of everyone, but you can tell it was really just marketing for the Mr. O this year...

My favorite of the show? Jon Jackson, Claude Groulx, and Ahmad Haidar...

I finally got around to hitting a pro contest this year, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself...

Damn I didnt know Jay was doing the whole circut from the Ironman on-I figured he was just doing the Arnold. IMO he (from the pics) looked best at the Ironman-look at the pics on www.getbig.dom - he was shredded with quads like none ever besides Platz. No doubt the winner at the Arnold too, but he didnt look like those Ironman pics.
