San Francisco Gyms

Will be in SF next weekend. Looking for any “bodybuilder” type gyms like RedCon if that exists out there. Specifically downtown. Not driving out to Oakland, San Jose, etc…

I think there are some ‘hardcore’ gyms in the not so great part of town. Was just down in that area last weekend, but I do not remember the name. Google it

I think Emeric lives a bit south of SF but don’t know how far. Perhaps you could finagle a workout or two with him. (I’ve been tempted but never have.)

You won't drive to Oakland for the gym, but you should drive to Oakland for some food. Check out "Word Famous Hotboys" over there.

I have done this a lot and was not as fun as I thought it would be. It used to
cost a small fortune (think Golds in Santa Monica or is in Venice Beach now?)
and the paperwork and all the people that won't move out of your way, or
give up a machine you want to use (the last part is a joke). Seriously, I never
enjoyed it that much. Sure you get look at some new hide and try out some
new machines but if want an in-and-out workout like you get a home, I never
got it, it was always a chore to me. But hey, that's just me.
