How's everything still going with the log?

So today was my first day back in the gym after 2 weeks off. My wife had to go to Texas for work and I tagged along to have a little mini vacation for a week. The day after we got back I started a new job at a last chance high school. So I’m on dayshift now and I struggle a bit with change so getting my eating and training in a new schedule gives me some anxiety. Finally got my ass moving and meal prepped last night and hit push day today. Not only did the layoff not cost me any strength, but weight or reps were up on every exercise except for hammer strength shoulder presses. I think partly that the immense and painful pump I had in my delts by that point made it difficult. Starting to get some occasional hand numbness, and definitely some lower back pumps from the gh, but the pump at the gym and even for hours after has been stupid

Yes it was a proximal tear. Ended up not having surgery and just PT and it’s back with no issues and other than a slight divot in the muscle that only I can really notice you’d never know it

Man you're so fortunate! Both of mine are torn. Tore the left one years ago and had surgery that didn't work then recently tore the right one and chose to not fix it because they were so lopsided- my right one was big and full and the left part gone near the elbow. They actually look better now more symetrical but God I miss them. I'm grateful I can still workout and bodybuild though. Each time I tore them after a hard back day
