Scar Tissue

If there has been a post about this I apologize feel free to point me in the right direction.

I was just wondering how much scar tissue builds up over time at injections sites? I only pin my quads as it is the easiest place for my non-flexible ass to reach. How do you know if you are accumulating scar tissue? Thanks in advance.

I've been injecting for 17 years. The first 5 or so, I didn't know how to inject properly - too much volume and too quick, so I now have marbles (that's exactly what they feel like) of scar tissue in my glutes and delts.
