I did my 1st two preps myself and those two shows I was on my best condition. When I compete again I will do it myself again. Going to look into this book as well.
It's very in-depth. More so than Layne's Prep book or anything I've seen thus far. Divulges into multiple scenarios and how to proceed forward with each which is awesome, explains why you're doing 'X' and not "just fucking do it".

Yes, that's the idea - simply to give you some decision making principles (that you can decide to use or pitch based on the evidence I provide, logic, your experience, etc.) that you can then use to coach yourself.
There's definitely coaches out there that are of the "just do what I say" camp, and they of course are perfect for clients who just want to be told what to do. Some eventually want to know why, and well, that's when the trouble starts.. .LOL
