Im aware of birds extra sensitivity to toxins. Hence why coal miners used canary's to warn of impending toxic buildup in mining sites. The birds would die long before the levels built up to where humans could feel it. Hence if the bird dies....get the hell out of there! We also cook and eat 6-8 meals a day where the average person does not. That's significantly more exposure to the toxins in a non stick pan than the average person would have. Personally im not going to risk it and I cook in my 20 year old cast iron skillet
I love my cast iron skillets too brother, and I couldn’t even guess how old they are; I inherited them from my grandma, she cooked my mom’s/uncles food in them, and I’m not exactly “young” lol. I still use nonstick though, but only for certain things, like eggs. Different tools for different jobs, that’s all.
I've been using this very Pan for over 10 Years, have a couple of different sizes.
Well worth the Money, and it performs flawlessly...................... JP
P.S.
The Key to a Good Omelet, or Eggs in general, is a Good Pan !
I cook my eggs in Gee. Nothing wrong with healthy fats as long as your carb consumption is moderately low. In fact I would argue unless you are pre.show it is a good thing to cook in healthy fats. I use avacado oil sometimes too but gee is just f'in delicious
How do you guys make scrambled eggs that don't stick to the pan without using lots of butter or oil? I spray the pan with Pam, but they still stick and it's tough to clean. Help?
Definitely cook on medium heat. I never have issues with sticking, but I also eat my eggs keto style. I do use butter after the pan is warm, add heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle some shredded cheese to finish.
