Anyone else get this after cardio or training? I thought that after exercise was supposed to be when most sensitive, but it’s actually significantly higher than my morning readings.

If you have trained heavy/ hard then your body will invoke a fight or flight response and the liver will send a pulse of sugar into your system sending glucose values up. On a different note, this is something diabetics have to be very aware of ie the different way the body responds to aerobic and anaerobic training and when to dose insulin or not
I took my BC yesterday, i fasted for about 17 hours then took the dog for a 4+ mile walk, took about 1 hour 15 minutes. Checked my glucose as soon as i got home and my glucose was a couple points higher then it normally is in the morning. Had to figure the body was converting fat to glucose or was releasing some of what was stored in the liver as fast as was needed. I expected it to be lower then when normally fasted.
