Seeing Doctor for High Blood Pressure while on

I have been fluctuating between stage one "140/90 and above" and stage two "160/100 hypertension. I am in the middle of a cycle and not sure what to do. I see a doctor this Thursday to get my blood work done. Do I tell the doctor I'm on?

Not really looking for advice if you have not had this experience.

If you have had a similar experience Your advice is much appreciated. :D

I have been on high blood pressure medication for about 10 years and I have been so called on during those 10 years. I did not tell my doctor of being so called on but I know he is not stupid and he has not asked me anything. He does make sure that I get a physical every 3 months with blood work done to make sure I am safe.

So your decision to tell him but as with me I did not say anything, however if he did ask I would have told him but he never asked.

With your readings that high you need to be placed on medication.

You don't need to tell your doc shit especially when it comes to aas usage. However, I will admit that it does help him evaluate the situation better, but then again there is the flip side of your insurance company knowing and that can lead to a big headache which you don't want to deal with. I've been on bp meds ever since I was 23. Currently taking 3 different types now under doc supervision of course. High bp runs on my dad's side of the family which he already knew and was more than eager to give me meds for. I'm no doc, but your bp would be in the hypertension stage where your doc would most likely give you meds. When I was first put on norvasc many years ago, my bp readings were 160ish/100.

Being predisposed to high blood pressure and taking drugs that cause it is a fast track to a bad place.

You may not wish to tell your doctor that you are taking drugs that are raising your bp but sure as hell you would be best advised to stop.

There is just no way it's worth the risk.

No, your statement isn't completely true. If you are taking the proper medication to control your bp, then there most likely won't be an issue. The point of taking bp meds is to lower your bp to the point where it's in the normal range. I use myself as an example. Right now, my bp is excellent with the meds I'm on. It usually averages 110/60 on a daily basis. My blood work is also perfectly fine as well and I haven't had any problems related to my bp or heart since I've been on my meds. Also, back when my bp was off the charts, I was eating shit and wasn't doing any cardio.

Hawthorne Berry Extract. Everyone on AAS should be taking a product called LIFE SUPPORT. Phil Hernon has it.

Thanks everybody! I definitely got the advice I needed. :D
