Seeing new endocrinologist,,so I can get a script and it’s in my insurance network.my friend is an endocrinologist but he doesn’t charge me,so no file

Question is should I tell the new Dr what my friend prescribes me?the problem. Is there is medical records of him,since he don’t charge me or insurance

Just to be safe I wouldn't jeopardize your friend but what I would do is tell him that you buy it through the internet yourself

I meant to say there’s no medical records that I’ve been seeing him.he doesn’t want to indulge his name but I wouldn’t mention his name.
The reason I want it on record is because then I’ll be able to have regular bloodwork and in my state you can’t just pay for it online and have them send you a script

Is there a way you can sanitize the prescriptions so it's evident that the prescription is real, but it hides who the doc is?
This is a tricky one, because you don't want the new Endo thinking you're stabbing shit haphazardly (they may decline to prescribe you things), but you can't risk the license of your friend if he's been a bit liberal in his prescriptions - that shit can get reported to the board and his license can get revoked if they deem it reckless.

Every Dr. in the US is given a ID # that they are identified with on their scripts. And pharmacies keep a record of all scripts they fill. Another Dr should have no way of tracing other Dr.s scripts from what i understand. That is why it is hard to catch Dr's that over prescribe pain meds. The state or fed government can trace things as they can access all records.

I would ask your friend how he feels you should best handle this as he's the one who may be at risk.
Also, as stated above, your friends scripts are in the fed database, so he actually should have medical records to back up writing them. He's created some liability for himself, that really isnt necessary.
