Finasteride would be the first and most obvious thing to drop, to see if your symptoms improve. It doesn't negatively effect all men, but for many men, there are profound negative effects with ED, libido, and depression symptoms.
Believe me, I've bald for decades, and once you get used to it there's no problem with being bald at all. I'd much rather have a working cock than a full head of hair.
The only problem with dropping the Finasteride is that your symptoms may not immediately improve, if ever. As you mention, Post Finasteride Syndrome is a real problem that effects many men, even long after dropping the Finasteride. Depression and ED are common even long after discontinuing the drug.
In my opinion, Finasteride should never have been approved for use, as Merck knew all along that there were potential serious sexual side effects with using the drug, but they hid the data. And sadly doctors still hand that stuff out like candy, without warning patients of the potential risks.
Note that I say potential risks. Some men have no problems on Finasteride at all, but for many it is an erection killer, and the problems remain even after stopping the drug.
But stopping Finasteride is your best chance of getting better at this point.
