Well his wife is half his age so he's probably ok in that regard lol.. I can tell Ya that yes, we all want a great long life.. But the average man lives about 72 to 74 years.. He's 64.. Almost there.. He is doing what he loves.. I'm not condoning massive dosages at his age but we really don't know what he is doing.. He was a massive bodybuolder for decades..( look at his competition pics) so he's been doing this for 40 years.. Or more.. So he's made it this far under this lifestyle so I don't see him giving it up soon.. Everyone has a choice .. If he's happy more power to him.. I see many 64 year olds in my line of work and they don't lift or take gear but they are way less healthy than him I'd bet.. Again not condoning it but the older I get I realize it's not the length of the life but how happy Ya are living it..

Well said. I am not a fan of putting your own beliefs on someone else. Even if the guy was 54 I would never say he shouldn't be doing this and that. He is doing what he loves and he looks incredible. But as you say the guy is 64 so he is obviously doing something right. Quite a high percentage of 64 year olds are past it in so many ways but this guy clearly has passion and it's great to see. I am all for putting people on the healthier paths and trying to educate them about health etc. But there is too much preaching on here at times and I can't help but think most of the guys that do it are unhappy with themselves in someway. Be whoever you want to be and don't let someone tell you otherwise.

A lot of critics don't take into account the fact that many of the pros use a lot of recreational drugs at after parties and don't lead a very healthy lifestyle outside of bodybuilding. They immediately point to the gear and say, "This is what causes an early death!" when in reality, they should take all the other factors into account.

But I digress. You are absolutely right, it can be healthy when practiced properly.
