ok i know everyone does things different and i was wanting to know what the best error proof way would be to carb up. Either carb deplete till friday night then shitload through saturday. Or The more traditional carb deplete, carb load for 3 days? what are your opinions on this? Which one seems easier to peak right at?
 
Traditional carb load for two days and a fat and carb meal the night before!!
 
Shitloading brings me in full, dry and vascular. Just the way I used to look the day after the show when I used to try traditional carbing.
 
Ok fella's, I'm posting pics with "Traditional water/sodium/carb manipulation" than a 2-week later shitload transformation. With the standard carb-loading, I came flat, sunken in, muscles not pushing against skin, etc... In 2-weeks I know I didnt not get leaner, however, my water and sodium balance shifted in a much favorable manner, which made me appear 5-10 lbs fuller and leaner, due to that shift. I posted my outline for the shitload in year old post. Here are some pics from The 2006 Oregon State Championship (July 1st) and 2 weeks later Washington state Championship (July 15).

I like the idea of doing only protein and veggies for 10 days and then on the wednesday before the show, going into the fat/protein diet, cutting sodium on friday morning and cutting water out between 6pm and 8pm then night before the show.

In all fairness I think the lighting should at least be somewhat similar to really judge. Still, I think you photos look really lean. Your back is quite impressive.
 
As far as the loading, I think it just depends on the person.
 
I agree, I couldnt find the same lighting, but just the same poses. As a competitor, you know when your "on" and when your not. When I was putting on my protan, a few days prior to the first show, I knew something was up as I was carbing up. When I did the second method, I felt fuller and more crisp on the days leading up to and the on the day of. It's weird how the body can change so quickly.
